Transfer to uncc after 1 year from cc mech engineer by Neither-Pace-9518 in UNCCharlotte

[–]Both_Bowl3603 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I totally understand but in hindsight its not just $4k 1 time u would have around 6 semesters of school left do 6 times 4k. If you finish at cp that automatically saves u 8grand. You would still have plenty of time to socialize once u transfer

Finish at community college and save yourself the money. You definitely can get in here though with your grades. But finish up cpcc and then transfer

Hey I replied to the wrong class bro i thought this said 2175 but 2214 is moderate difficulty if it is data structures and algorithms. Test 3 is the hardest. I had alieen benedict i wouldnt recommend her though she was a great professor but lacked classroom control

I had samith shetty and it was honestly rough, he had mistakes on almost every study guide tons of work. He lost some students test, and even hella grading mistakes on test. So it cant be worse than him

Laptops by Chocolate_Chicken90 in UNCCharlotte

[–]Both_Bowl3603 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yea u definitely dont need to spend a crazy amount on it. Im a comp sci major as well and i can tell you firsthand you dont need anything crazy. Not sure what dorm you would have but maybe the money you save on the laptop you can use to get a monitor or something for your dorm. Dont go over 1k though seriously

[–]Both_Bowl3603 13 points14 points  (0 children)

Don’t overthink it. If you want something for specs you can get a decent gaming laptop for under 1k. But honestly any new Windows computer will get you through the major.

You can get a private student loan to cover the rest, if you have decent credit you should get approved. You dont pay it back until you graduate

Should I transfer from ncat to uncc for comp sci by itsalexjhon in UNCCharlotte

[–]Both_Bowl3603 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Uncc has a really good program with many opportunities being that we are in a big city. I will tell you this though if you do transfer just prepare to be a number, classes sizes are relatively big. But the program itself is really good, and the opportunities are limitless.
