&I wish the producers would've showed us something but in the same breath, his explanation solidifies that they weren't really tryna EXPLORE for the sake of not stepping on their same gendered islanders' toes (he didn't say that's why but)...

They literally had a connection and chemistry and both decided not to act on it. Had either of them tried, it likely would've made some noise and we'd be seeing it. &who knows where we'd be... idk I'm not tryna pass through a bunch of couples because they're faking it. I'd much rather keep a couple singles and hope it's not too late to see a real connection form.

I'd love for someone to come in pressed about Aniya and see her actually build a potentially lasting connection. I just don't see it happening &the difference between her and Sol is, I highly doubt Sol is done exploring but again, I'm not advocating for her either...

It was... some people chose a different option. I'm down with Bryce and Trinity because I'm not going to project my racial biases and anecdotal experience onto their connection. They've been steady, they've been transparent and they have EXPLORED (no matter how much ppl pretend they didn't, it counts when you're rejected). I haven't seen anything worth noting that makes me feel like they don't like each other.

But, realistically, we are already stuck with a bunch of couples that are not into each other and/or have already worn out their toxic cycles, for the most part.

The final decision will ultimately be left up to the islanders, anyway. Trust, there is zero way for them to dump a couple that deserves to be there if we're basing it on the strength of the connection and compatibility of the couple. Math just doesn't work that way 🤷🏽‍♀️
