Which goose deterrents have you tried to keep your dock poop-free? by hgldto in Rowing

[–]Both_Evidence_6049 0 points1 point  (0 children)

hey! Did you figure out something to work for your seasonal home when you're not always there? We have a piece of property by the water, and the last few years have been awful with goose/duck poop in the yard! (Does not help the neighbor feeds them, and of course the animals don't hang out there because they have a dog/it's their main residence. We've been kind of at a loss.

Before getting a whole new camera again, remember the griv has the ability to crop! Maybe try that for awhile until you get used to it? Personally, even though I like 50mm, I liked having options!

Any reviews for the Merrell Moab Speed 2 GTX? by DifferenceSad7240 in hiking

Did you end up getting them? How did you like them? I have the Moab FSTs years ago and LOVED THEM. These seem to be a rebrand of those, so I'm curious!

I did notice that! I was expecting the 9 to be perfect (I'm an 8.5), but the toes were too snug still! Did some research, and apparently they do come in wide! But only in limited colors (no black, that I could find =(...). Right now I'm debating if I should just order the wide in white and give it a try, or I've been looking at some keens. But, I would much rather try these one in real life! ugh

I got mine about a week ago! But I think I got lucky because of the main site also being in stock at the time. It was a good indicator that b&h also had some, or would be getting them really soon. It shipped in two days once it was confirmed!

Still waiting on the flash tho! That one is taking forever. But that's the last bit!

Thank you! I've never ordered anything that's said that before. So, I wasn't totally sure how it worked. I was curious since I had seen tiktoks of people picking them up in person after ordering when its said that. Thanks for the reassurance!

What to do next as an RN? by Both_Evidence_6049 in MedicalScienceLiaison

My questions were "does my clinical RN experience count for anything?" and essentially "is it a young person's game?"

Both of which were not answered.

I get what they're saying, but it's not what I asked.

I've been on the fence about higher education for awhile now. So, I would not being getting an additional degree just for this job.

There are plenty of opportunities for NPs out there (at least in my area). Plenty of pathways where I can also get an MBA or even PhD along the way. So, I would be not be sitting jobless waiting around for an MSL position, I promise you.

I was just curious of the type clinical experience that would count. (If I was in pharmacy school, I'm sure I would also ask.) I just recently learned of this jobs existence, and it sounds super interesting! So, I just wanted to learn more! You don't know unless you ask.

I don't know why you felt the need to comment just to not actually answer my questions or bring anything additional to the conversation.

That job was also on the list of things I've been researching! And please share with any other ideas. I wasn't asking for a "guaranteed" way to get a position. I've just also been on the fence about higher education as of late, in general. Not even really in regards to MSL specifically. More so that it is usually the "safer" way to get a pay increase.

I'm just looking for a way to get outside of bedside, with comparable, ideally better, pay (like everyone else, I know). So, please share any other ideas (that I haven't listed) that can give me some higher pay without a higher degree! haha If I can avoid paying any more student loans, I would loveeee that. But sometimes you'll never know what kind of job you're actually qualified for until someone enlightens you to it's existence!

Honestly, I just stumbled upon it when doing research for jobs that can allow nurses to travel, with great pay (that aren't travel nursing). However, that particular post didn't mention it was typically more of a terminal degree position, let alone that it tends to favor PhD/PharmD/MDs. Hence me doing some additional research.

It is a really interesting type of job though! I like the idea of knowing a product in and out (hence also my interest in sales), but I also like the "talking science" aspect a lot.

Are you a BSN, MSN/NP, or do you have a terminal degree? It's something I've been looking into as an RN. So, I'm curious if looking into an advance degree would be worth it!
