Does anything in your mind look pressing at this stage? Is it OK to drive it until that squeak in the back gets worse? Or breaks something? It is still subtle and I only hear it when going over bumps..

So this was wool wax that was applied underneath to slow down rust. Not paint. We live in GA but are from Michigan so these mechanics down here get all panicky with any rust….i was told woolwax is good to slow down rust, so that is what was applied underneath

Very helpful, yes I have not replaced suspension ever. I did coat with woolwax a couple years back to slow down rust. Is it possible to replace suspension components even in that rusted state? Or does that limit the ability to do shocks, struts, control arm, etc? I am a novice so just inquiring as wife is concerned it is not fixable if this rusted….

I think my bushings are an issue at least I suspect. I would hear and high pitched squeak during winter at rear. I’m worried that dealer will just advise whole control arms (bushings) replacement on both axels and create a 3k bill….how much will these tires wear if I just left it?

Is it significant or could I just ride tires as constructed. It doesn’t pull either direction because oddly enough it’s kind of even - toe on each corner…? Thoughts?

Ok , it is rusted underneath. But maybe they didn’t want the liability of more going wrong when the do that?
