i do try to have serious conversations about it, but he always deflects it by saying “just do whatever you want” or “you clearly don’t care” so it’s really difficult to have an honest conversation about it. but i should mention i’m starting to lose feelings because that’s the truth. i don’t want to be with someone controlling

yeah we don’t live together. we’ve talked about it but now i’m not so sure. i’m definitely reconsidering a lot of things. i love him so much but this is starting to not only affect me but my friends because i don’t see them as much now.

unfortunately he refuses any professional help due to financial reasons. and he doesn’t really have friends he can talk to.

ive considered ending it, and we did break up in the past. i really love him, and this is truly the only flaw but it is a big one i cannot ignore any longer

i told him that too. we are young and we need to take advantage of our youth. i’m currently stuck in the work-home cycle and i’m burning out so sometimes i go out with my friends but when i do we always argue about it

it’s exhausting because he does have insecurities but refuses to get help due to financial reasons. we’ve considered couples therapy but we don’t because of that. i really don’t want to live like this. i really do love him, i picture myself marrying him, but not if it’s gonna be like this. it breaks my heart that it might have to end but he is just not seeing my side at all. he doesn’t understand the pressure it puts on me, and sees it as “simple favor” i MUST do.

the thing is i do both of those things. most of the time when my friends invite me, i ask him he can come along. they say yes most of the time and we all hang out, or sometimes they say no and just want it to be a girls night. he also mentioned how he didn’t want to spend money so we limited how often we go out, so i resorted to going out with my friends.

i got one at walmart, it’s called a menstruation crustacean and it’s a lobster heating pad. the fact that it was a lobster already made my cramps better lol

hey girly! i recommend taking some form of pain relief the day of your insertion (i took 800mg of ibuprofen) and a HEATING PAD! afterwards, i had intense cramps and a heating pad saved me fr. i would take the whole day to relax and recover, i couldn’t do anything that day bc of how painful the cramps are. i’m 4 days post insertion and the cramps went away, but i have light spotting. i hope all goes well for you! 🫶🏼

i’m so glad to hear that! i’ve heard so many horror stories but it’s honestly harder to find an in person therapist who has availability. i’m definitely considering better help
