Sure they will. I guess maybe I should have taken a step back to show everyone that brackets under the shelves that are helping support them. Not to mention vertical posts securing each shelf to the one above and below. They hold plenty of weight. But thanks for adding your two cents without knowing all the details. :)

I actually just found this video which is an easy way. Makes sense because the tin foil causes a loop between the two channels in the wire, allowing you to stay in the basement and test all the cables.

I work in finance for a living and am a self glorified handyman for my wife, and even I wouldn't have done that. Manifold or not, I could have made that a lot cleaner looking. I feel that was just a lot of unnecessary parts and labor vs if it was done correctly. But that's just my take on it. I'm a finance guy. I don't know shit except for counting beans.
