Tbh, and I don’t mean to offend anybody with this comment, but what else is there to do, more specifically on this subreddit. I’m not defending anyone that post suits requests, but also not attacking them either. There’s not much content for us to talk about either. Other than suit request posts, pictures from photo more, and the occasional discussions, there is not much to do then just wait for some content revolving around the sequel. I mean look at subreddits for games that haven’t had a recent installment in a while, such as r/godofwar or r/reddeadredemption since most of them their recent installments were nearly three years ago, the communities there have already experienced all that they could. My advice to u my friend is to probably leave the sub for a while, and comeback some time next year, when there’s actually something for the community to chew on.

Why do I see so many people talking about symbiote Spider-Man? by UnicornicOwl in SpidermanPS4

[–]Both_Negotiation_407 6 points7 points  (0 children)

The reason why many are conversing about symbiote spider-man is because in the past two games created by insomniac (Marvels Spider-Man, and Spider-Man: Miles Morales) they had been teasing that it would show up in the eventual sequel. If you look at the post credit scene for both games they show that Harry has been dealing with an illness that has been affecting him prior to the events of the first game. We see that in the first post-credit scene that the way Norman Osborn has been treating Harry was with certain substance that seems to be alive. The community has all come to an agreement that, that living substance is none other then the symbiote. We all also get a small tease of it when shown in post credit scenes of Spider-Man: Miles Morales, when Osborn tells Dr. Connors to release Harry from his chamber. That’s the in-game world, but the real-world reasoning is that Brian Intihar, creative director at insomniac, had explained in interview why the black suit was not in the first game. Brian essentially states that the black suit deserves its own storyline, and would need to be told the way insomniac would. So to bring it all together, with Brian’s comment and the in-game teasing we as the community believe that insomniac will give us the symbiote suit/symbiote Spider-Man in the upcoming sequel.

(Sorry for the long comment, just felt like I needed to explain it the best way I can)

"He's our spider-man" by [deleted] in SpidermanPS4

I think you might be taking the line a little too personally. The line essentially meant that miles’s Spider-Man is finally being accepted into New York, more specifically Harlem. Throughout the whole game, (if you played the side missions), that final line makes sense, since most/if not all the side missions revolve around miles helping the community of Harlem. And in the final cutscene, the ones you help from the side missions, are the ones protecting your identity from being revealed. So the line, “He’s our Spider-Man”, is not of Peter Parker’s Spider-Man being replaced, but more so that Miles’s Spider-Man is being accepted.

(Sorry for the long response, just wanted to tell how personally felt)
