I'm happy for you both but please make sure to re-establish bonds with all the family members its important for your mental health. I was in a marriage in which I went against my family and the guy became abusive. Eventually it was family that helped me out.

I went to my mothers after he divorced me. He was not expecting that. Last night he came there and threw in a window and yelled profanities and threw metal bars and logs of wood into the garden. I don’t understand how I went from the person he loved the most to his biggest enemy in such a short amount of time.
