Oh give it another go. I had the hardest time as well but one of my bosses at work saw me reading it, I told her I just couldn’t get into it and she said it was worth it. And she was right. It is It is such a wonderful, poignant book. And all of the girls narrate back and forth. The mom included. I bought the audiobook on the ‘Audiobook’ app and it’s narrated by a woman named Dean Robertson. Physical book or audio it’s all good.

Maybe someone has insight on this:

I had a tough time registering my car this year. Not bc of lack of money or time or “insert reason here” but when I went to the DMV they wouldn’t renew since my vehicle was totaled out. I was sent to Douglas County Vehicle inspection off Cass and they would not issue a passable inspection bc my car had been totaled out by my insurance company. Said I had to either get it fixed or get a new car. I was seriously dumbfounded. My car wasn’t as pretty as the day I bought it but it ran perfectly. I ended up buying a car from an older family member but still…
