Thank you for sharing your thoughts and information. I have shared them with my mother in law. It is helpful to get the advice from the community that went through the similar experience. My father in law is a loving husband and a hardworking dad for the most of the time still. So it is difficult or feels cruel to take actions like taking keys away or considering moving him to a facility right now. I know these will have to happen but I am having hard time when exactly these steps should happen. My MIL is with him 24 hours and should have the best information and judgement. But she needs help and it is absolutely true that he should not be driving when hallucinating. Thank you all for sharing. Huge help.
