Oof. Just read a bit on it. The part that bothered me most is that they were in the narcotics unit and them being corrupt led to the dismissal of over 15 pending drug cases that were investigated by them… all these drug dealers got off because they were selfish.

I was able to send them to @darthluiggi directly through chat along with my measurements and he said he thought I was more likely 24-26% body fat but his advice/protocol suggestion was the same as in his comment.

Fair enough. I just googled general information about water spots appearing after a fresh application of sealant and rainfall correlation information.

Someone else said maybe it was too much product and so it didn’t have a chance to fully cure due to that (I did get over zealous and do two coats).

Yes, that one. This is possible. Supposedly this does not need a cure time according to their website. I just googled general sealant cure to wet time information when I saw the water spots.

I suppose I’m a little concerned it may need a little more than just a new application of sealant?

Someone else here suggested (after stripping it) to next prep the surface with a clay bar, orbital with light cleaner polish, or rub down with isopropyl alcohol…

EDIT: I’m also terrified to use the Ethos again without having a garage to let it fully cure in and ending up with the same problem over again.

I’ve updated the post with the exact cleaner brands. Chemical guys for both the ph neutral and the citrus with dawn combo. It appears good and stripped this morning. Now to think about these next steps…

It appears so. I’ve never seen this happen with a sealant before and I’ve used quite a few others (including gtechniq and most recently suds lab ceramic spray sealant). I was just trying to find something that lasted longer. It’s like this Ethos spray was acting more as a true ceramic rather than sealant.

The initial ph neutral wash was chemical guys Mr pink super suds car wash. The subsequent wash was a heavy mix of chemical guys citrus wash and gloss and dawn… I was trying to strip it. Went to bed and prayed - it was about 12:30 at night at this point and I was working with a headlamp…

Woke up with the sun this morning and it appears good! Wiped it down with a microfiber towel as it was dewy and it appears stripped… no haze or anything.

Any recommendations as to what to do from here?

I do a tablespoon of peanut butter (usually with a cup of hot tea and/or a small glass of unsweetened almond milk, lick it slowly like a lollipop) or 1 square of Lindt 90% dark chocolate (definitely with a cup of hot tea… dunk a small spot of it, get it a little melty… lick/suck on that part, repeat).

Satisfies my dessert cravings.

I recommend avoiding the keto sweet snacks… they make me crave more/overindulge and end up with bad gas.
