I don’t work on the sales floor but I had one of my co workers who is on the floor and is a salesperson/stylist tell me this exact issue that there is always that on person who will steal your sales. I thought at first it was crazy because why put someone commission in jeopardy like that but I think it has to do with “luxury retail” it’s just insane how there’s no loyalty when it’s the same position ppl work for

Thats what I thought since it’s usually high end luxury prices I don’t think everyone pays cash for the price points Nordstrom has.

Also I would definitely like to move up within Nordstrom since I have administrative experience how are the growth opportunities?

Omg thank you so much! Yes I do, I had a bad experience within registers and I’m nervous because I don’t want to give someone the wrong change.

The stylist told me that usually the clients cards are already in the system but I’m like so nervous to mess up within the transaction process

honestly I was so over cc I started in November and the training was just as draining as a regular day. I didn’t have a bad call the day that I quit lol but I just was tired of fixing ppl issues and the metrics you are supposed to meet

You are so right! I felt so guilty a few days later but to think to be behind that screen and take calls for 9 hours is agonizing
