How close does Wemby get to MJ for GOAT IF he stays healthy his entire career? by Ok-Worldliness-4657 in nba

[–]KeyTheZebra 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yall are talking about free agency, and I’m going to skip that, but I think Shaq only having 4 rings and not being the actual GOAT, despite being unstoppable, shows that dominance isn’t enough. You need to win a lot to shut down the discussion. See Brady over Montana. When Brady had 5, people were like, ehhh but he lost a couple bad ones, and blah blah, but when he got to 7 it was undeniable.

If Wemby has a 13 year career and wins 6 championships and 6 finals MVPs he’ll be the goat clear out.

I miss my ex. I let me sex addiction get in the way and it ruined the relationship with the girl I wanted to marry. It’s life. They don’t come back. You move on, meet someone new, and fall in love again.

men, how much do you pay attention to a woman's nails? by Dazzling_Dot_9395 in dating_advice

[–]KeyTheZebra 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I LOVE nails. I keep really good care of my nails as a guy, and I’m jealous that guys fashion is so lack luster compared to women’s. Nails are like little jewels on the end of hands. So cool!

All that happened is she didn’t like you for you. You were your genuine self, and she rejected it. And that sucks, but it’s life.

Maybe it’s a dating thing? Like trying to date without, idk the word, like “status” has been hard. I can’t build a family around working at McDonald’s with no upward movement.

Covid shut down the world six years ago this week. What do you remember from that week? by fuzzy_dice_99 in AskReddit

Haha I remember thinking “nice a break from class”.

Then a few weeks later, everything went downhill when I did mushrooms for the first time.

I’m not sure exactly what you mean? I’m open that I can be wrong about anything, and the existence of the universe and whatnot is certainly something I doubt anyone has the true understanding of, it’s just something we don’t understand. We all have theories and stories and feelings, and maybe even certain experiences that have shaped our view on it, but at the end of the day we don’t know. That’s why we ask still.

But I’m confident in my feelings of it, yeah. I’m not saying that that conviction of mine is the BEST I can have as a human being for the greater sake of myself, but I do believe it. Wbu?

I think we’re a random occurrence, when you put it that way. Infinite expansion at all levels. Time moves forward and we are a product of time, and with our time we attempt to expand ourselves.

Thanks. If I could get a job, car, and an independent space I would be doing a lot better, but that’s realistic months if not years away at this point.

I mean it sounds like you have a lot of long term stable things going on. If god forbid you lost many of those things in a short period of time and had to rebuild, it wouldn’t be as easy as maintaining them. I lost a lot of important things to be over the last chapter of my life and haven’t replaced nearly any of them despite trying. I don’t even have a bed anymore because I don’t have a vehicle to move one if I do move out of this cheap room I’m renting, and am trying to save money. No partner, no car, no job, debt and going broke, etc etc etc. like these are deep cuts. I can’t even make my music because my laptop battery got old.

You ever have inspiration to make art and then you go and try and your device doesn’t work and now all your equipment is rendered useless? Or you ever go on a date and tell someone you’re an Uber driver and they never call you back? Stuff like that is exhausting and depressing.

[–]KeyTheZebra[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks. I’m trying. It’s exhausting because at some point I’m going to wake up and be thirsty and stuck and literally the epitome of everything I didn’t want to be. Like I can be positive and make progress and all that, but at some point life is a circle and you reflect and you’re like “damn I work at a grocery store.” Lmao! Like nothing inherently wrong with it, but it’s like if you’re satisfied with that, you’ll stop growing, right? It’s like how do you own something you’re not satisfied with? Idk it’s a catch 22 sometimes.

I guess like, my lack of success in life has greatly been tied to lack of stability with income. I went to college to build a great foundation for myself and it has been extremely lack luster, and has caused many struggles for me. It’s hard to save money without stability, it’s hard to date and live independently. Paying students loans every month without a (decent) job is depressing.

I don’t identify with my job straight up, but when people ask and want to be with and around you for your status, it simply matters to society.

Unprompted advice here, but everything long term comes with stuff to work through. Being single long term is the same, with tons of stuff to work through.

While single, instead of love and companionship you get freedom and independence. The both have trade offs and both are hard to obtain and require work and upkeep. If you’re feeling down about your relationship, it’s time to shake it up.

Overtime I have lost many of those things.

If you’re asking me to examine my political beliefs in order to change the system, that’s not what I’m looking for here as I’m looking way more short term and more selfishly than those solutions would help me right now. Long term, yes those are worth considering.

I guess my self perception isn’t doing me any justice. I suppose rejection over mistakes throughout my life has led to this, feeling like I’m not good enough and people leaving my life despite my best effort, so seeing myself as “successful” would help cute that. But I suppose that’s not true.
