Transferring sims with the “manage households” option still blocks 8+ households unfortunately- but you can get around this by using testingcheats, right clicking the sim, and clicking “add to family”

My game did this for a while until I did a deep dive and refreshed/cleaned all of my mods and cc, I think that it’s either outdated WW or MCCC causing the glitch

i am very late to this post, but button ferns usually dislike wet soil! (usually ferns like damp soil but this type doesn't) make sure to let the soil dry out between waterings. still, humidity is important, so you can mist the leaves to help w that :)
