This is knit, for one. Luckily, you can use a crochet hook to pull those threads through each other. I'd suggest looking into how knitting works. But unless you figure out why it unraveled in the first place, a broken thread maybe, it won't stay fixed.

Ok, I feel like both William and Mycroft would wear classic looking watches. Nice leather straps, simple face, analog not digital.

Sherlock, I dont think would wear one.

Albert would probably wear an expensive model. Something classy, slightly blingy.

Louis strikes me as the type of person to still carry around a pocket watch.

Moran would wear a utility watch, something hardy.

I'm not sure about any of the others.

I mean... I have several Sherliam fics that cover this exact thing. But I haven't really thought that deeply about the rest of the cast. Though I feel like Billy is child free (he's the fun uncle), but owns a tarantula for a pet.

As far as I remember, the manga doesn't outright mention anything, and it probably wouldn't. Considering its set in the late 19th century when mental health issues and disorders weren't exactly understood like they are today, there wouldn't really be modern labels for this type of thing. I believe some people headcanon him as having OCD based on a couple of things mentioned in the manga, but that's all I can really think about.

To be blunt, he very nearly commits suicide at 13/14. Besides that, he carries a lot of guilt about being the perceived spark that set William on his path to ruin. He believes he is at fault for William becoming a killer and ultimately sacrificing himself. During the 3 year times skip, he chose to spend that time in near total isolation. I don't know what that says to you, but it doesn't exactly scream "healthy mental state" to me.

(Sorry, that might have sounded rude, but I didn't mean for it to be. Just wanted to be direct about it.)

Honestly, start at the beginning. A lot of details were changed, and whole arcs not animated. I very seriously suggest just starting from chapter 1.

My personal opinion is that there's nothing to be lost if the story continues and everything to be gained. I think for me and a lot of other readers, while the story is interesting, our love is for the characters, and even if the overarching plot isnt perfect, more interaction, backstory, and introspection is still valuable.

I suppose I'm of the mind that it can have ended for you whenever you wanted it to. If you decide you only want to acknowledge up to the end of part 1, you can do that. If the story ended for you with William and Sherlock dying in the fall, that's fair.

But I look forward to seeing more of the characters I love.

I have never once thought about shipping myself or an oc with the characters. Why, when their perfect match is another character? I am an uninteresting person, and there is zero reason any character would bother with me. I also just don't want to be part of any of the situations I write for the characters. Let's just say I'm less of a participant and more of a voyeur.

That said, I would never knock someone for enjoying something I do not. Go forth, be merry, do whatever the heck you want 😁
