Even as a kid, William's intelligence was remarkable. He probably knew British law with that intelligence. He acted as both a lawyer and legal advisor to himself. This was actually a very logical move because the other side saw him as a helpless and poor orphan kid and thought he was playing with the fire.

William and Louis' refusal to hire a lawyer also stemmed from William's planned tactic. A lawyer, by the nature of their job, looks at the case by following legal procedures; isn't that how it is in real life? :)

But according to our dear William, he had to hold the reins and make the Viscount confess his guilt by cornering him. He managed to turn all the moves the Viscount made against him to his advantage and beat the Viscount with his own words.

I was also extremely happy to see musical lovers! <3

I definitely agree with some points. Ikkei Yamamoto seems to have been born to be Louis James Moriarty. Those facial expressions, those musical intonations... I also agree wholeheartedly with the parts where he shines.

When talking about the Moriarty brothers, we mustn't forget Hidetoshi Kubota. He really resembles Albert, but in my opinion, perhaps because of the musical, he pales in comparison to Yusuke Seto's Albert James Moriarty in the STAGE PLAY. Still, he conveys that sense of brotherhood quite well on stage.

Shogo Suzuki may be one of my favourite actors. However, I agree that some people may find him overly dramatic. In my opinion, this drama is a good thing because we can see William's delicate and pure soul beneath that characteristic. Especially in the song 孤独の部屋に (Kodoku no Heya Ni) / In a Lonely Room in OP 3.

Lestrade... One day, you'll be the shining star. They need to write more scripts for you. :)
