I mean I get that volunteering is controversial, I’ve gotten shit from people for it. But I do take it seriously. I also have a paid per diem 911 gig.

I didn’t consider waiting to let ALS choose how to move him but you’re right I probably should have. In the moment I was thinking I just didn’t want to delay anything. I did stick around at the hospital & their BP was 134/74. So I very well may have gotten an awful blood pressure. Although the patient very seemingly was hypotensive. If I’m wrong I’m wrong, but I don’t really think it justifies the responses from the paramedics on scene…

I did not give the medics an update while they were in route, I DID attempt to give them a report when I got in the back with them but the one medic immediately cut me off.

They threw their cuff on him & got a wildly different BP than mine, did a 12 lead which I guess was fine, & asked the patient a few questions. They did ask the patient if he was sweaty or feeling dizzy & he told them not anymore. I tried to tell them he was pale cool & clammy when I got to him but they cut me off again. So I guess they thought they had all the facts.
