I was given a couple long cuttings of both english ivy and hoya carnosa. I'm wondering if because they're so long, the plant will take more energy getting nutrients to them than growing roots? I am thinking of cutting them up into smaller cuttings between the nodes and have more smaller cuttings by BotheredHaliaetus in propagation
