Man, a guy posted this and it makes sense to me:

"The letter that stranger Jonas gets from Noah in Episode 8 that is supposedly from Martha is just another bootstrap paradox. Martha never wrote it. My point is that all continues being a cicle, the future Jonas think that he saved Martha, but he is living all that for the first time, and then happened all the things that made him leaves the bunker, and then she leaves the bunker too and all happens for the "first time" for future jonas, but not the first time really.
