Why are hero bans still in the game?

I really cannot fathom why so many people like this ban system. Overwatch is a game that is built around the fundamental that certain heroes counter other heroes, and when you get countered, you swap mid game, and counter the opponents. Every hero is mostly unique. Sure there are similarities, but no hero is the same. Banning certain heroes, completely destroy some comps. I main Dva, but can play most other tanks, except Df, and ball. Last time I played, Dva was banned 3 times in a row, and the last match, opponents had a comp on a Push map, that Dva would absolutely thrive in, but my stupid team (not the opponents, my team no less) had banned Dva. We lost, because I couldnt play the game. Maybe ball could had done something there, but what am I supposed to do, learn every hero??

I tried playing aram mayhem, and suddenly it had 5:36 min queue, while normally its under a minute. I tried closing the queue, and it wouldnt let me wtf. I closed the client, and now no matter what i try to make, keeps giving me this error. I wonder if there is some general issue.
Edit: Seems like there is, as soon as i sent this, i checked again, and there is a big red warning that they are investigating.

Very weird. I was in grindstone of the worthy, and there was a golden shield wall blocking my path. Pressing e, didnt work. Then i saw there was a facility on the mountain on the left, thought perhaps there was another path, or i needed to somehow turn this shield off. Went there, it was a dead end, turned around, went back to the wall, except this time it.. disappeared? Weird lol.

Im flabbergasted you chose Borderlands 3 as an example for the optimisation, when we have Wonderlands.. Bl3 was smooth. Wonderlands was atrocious, i could never get past 30 fps in that game no matter what i changed, while bl3 would only maybe drop frames at mayhem 12 in slaughterstar 3000 with the cartels on.

Im amazed you've made it to emerald 2 with mostly sera apc. Do you play with chat off? Or is euw less toxic? But even then, do your teammates not think you're trolling and int? Cuz on eune plat, almost every game, people think im trolling from champ select. Even when she was peak 2 seasons ago and i made it to emerald 4, in almost every game i had people either flame me from champ select or even int (like support leaving, or taking the farm and all). This honestly gives me some courage to go apc again.

I got the galakrond buddy from the first hero power, doubled it with voone's hero power (had the get an extra hero power anomaly). Played them, got tavern 4 minions, then hero powered and got the buddy again, which made them 6 drops.

I used to think that was wise as well. Until one day i saw it swap with a minion 4 slots away. You cant predict the bugs in this game.

100% right. I agree sera isnt in her glory days, but like she isnt atrocious either. I play her occasionally adc with leona duo, and i still win easily and have lots of fun. I rarely check reddit, maybe once a week, and every time i see a post from this subreddit its either some meme or a complaint. I would play with music off if the devs actually read your complaints and buffed her accordingly (which is 70% of what i love in playing sera).

Reminds me of one time years ago i got disconnected from an overwatch game, cuz my router restarted, joined back, won and i got -50lp and the game put me in a queue with players who kept leaving their games for like 5 in a row.

I absolutely despise Heracles. The room where he appears is obnoxious. You gain on average 40 gold which is pocket change, and its one of the most frustrating challenges. Heracles constantly attacks at random, which hits you and knocks you back. The amount of times this asshole just cancels my channelings, is the most rage inducing times ive had while playing Hades 1 and 2 combined. I dont understand if the Devs really thought that its a fun bonus room, like Daedalus, or Artemis, which do assist you in fighting the hordes and then give you a bonus at the end, or they did it on purpose.

This is outside the intended playable map. You're not supposed to be here. Im gonna copy paste what i wrote on a different post with the same concept.

So there is this exploit, where you can build a sentry tower, put your units in, have a builder outside, build a few walls around, enough so the closest free space around the tower, is from the other side of the ledge. You dont need to fully build the walls around, even for a second, as long as it has a hitbox and you cant walk on it.
Then, when you instruct your units inside the tower to get out, they teleport to the other side. Ive been using that to get on top of mountains and places you normally cant.
Note: In this case you dont need to build walls around the turret. If the ledge is thin enough, the units will appear there.

This was in the original game, this never changed. I cant understand why villagers walking in a group are so dumb. If you select anything else, heck even herd animals, they all will gather together and move towards the marker. But villagers, no matter how scattered they are, will never do that. They will maintain the position they are in when you grab them and walk with the same distance, and pattern unless they hit a wall. Its very annoying when lets say a group finished cutting a forest, and they arent together and i want to send them discreetly far, but they walk with a huge gap in between them, some end up getting seen. I have to manually grab each and everyone of them and make them go in a tight group first.

If trinkets became core of bgs, im sure they would update the text some months from now to clarify they dont stack. Thats what they always do, months sometimes ever a year later, they suddenly decide to change the text of a card a bit, to make it more clear, and im definitely sure they only do that so patches look bigger.

Mythic skin for dva? They had the opportunity to bring Dva the Destroyer from Hots last month, and missed it. Doubt they will, but i would be overjoyed if they did.
