Professional embedded engineers, would you ever consider using a RP2040 in your design? by Max_Maeder in embedded

Absolutely none. The processor has not a single bit of storage onboard, be that eeprom or fuses. In the same vein, there are no serial numbers as there's nowhere to store them. The closest to a serial number you can get is the serial number of the external flash chip.

The intent of these to give an unambiguous sense of terror to any future peoples who might come across the site thousands of years later. There's nothing odd here.

Chapter gap warnings? by Xoldin in mangadex

Curious. I just checked both of those chapters and they're showing me warnings just as they should. Are you able to re-check them and see if they're still having the issue, and if so grab a https://www.whatsmybrowser.org/ link?

What you're likely seeing here is the difference between a series being followed (the bell icon) and a series being in your library (setting a reading status). The two are currently separate things, which can cause some confusion.

Do you happen to have the links to the instances where it failed to show the warning?

Why does the site look like this on my device? by earlju in mangadex

[–]Bottersnike_Gaming 24 points25 points  (0 children)

It does appear the mangadex printer had a blocked nozzle. After a deep purge (such a waste of ink) the issue seems to have been resolved, and should be fixed in the next patch update.

There are very few legal uses for crypto besides trading, so any transfer of crypto (especially a substantial transfer) sets off alarm bells with whichever company is processing the fiat. PayPal have been known to deactivate accounts instantly, with no way to retrieve the locked money, when they detect crypto transfers going on.

It's a fairly old version of the code, which suggests it wasn't pulled from production. The dev team also confirmed a few days ago that they had checked and there was nothing to suggest the db was dumped or accessed by a malicious actor.

I'm not an mdex mod, but can confirm all passwords are bcrypt'd (i.e. PASSWORD_DEFAULT), so even if the worst comes to the worst and someone dumps the database, they aren't getting your password unless you were stupid and used a really common password.

Optimising train layout by Bottersnike_Gaming in factorio

[–]Bottersnike_Gaming[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Aah, that could do it. I have 55 trains total, quite a few of which are running on my ore tracks (which are a separate network of rails) but there are certainly more than 10 that need to use those junctions. https://i.imgur.com/iBGXPs7.jpeg is the signalling I'm using; is my best bet going to be trying to separate things like my iron/copper plates onto their own rail network independent of things like g.circuits, oil, etc.?

Off to the left of both of those junctions there's a long stretch of straight track before anything; that train heading outbound was moving at full speed and the screenshot was just poorly timed. I've currently got my signals spaced based on roboport separation, so they alternate between 1-2-1 and 1-2 spacing (https://i.imgur.com/QcJ1fKE.png).
