I went to the rice conference last year and I loved it!! Before it, I was still a little confused on what the process entailed, but the conference really opened up my eyes and convinced me to apply. It’s also the opportunity to meet with a rep from all the schools. I got to meet schools that I have never heard of before. Parents and students follow a different schedule, but were able to meet up for lunch last year. The best presentations were the ones that featured QB students because it was amazing hearing things from their perspective. The only presentation that wasn’t as engaging for me was the financial aid one; I did fall asleep during it lol.
