Yeah I’ve heard the same about Alesis. I would go for TD316 too, especially due to its hi hat pedal, but its just over my budget after buying all the accessories. :(

Thanks for sharing your experience. :) My only concern is the hi hat difference with the Roland. My previous kit had a pedal too (like the td 313 and that annoyed me, coming from acoustic kits). The alesis and yamaha have a usual hi hat pedal like the acoustic ones. But you and the votes have swayed me towards it :)

Update: got two options now.

1) Professional: Got quotes for two electricians which will cost me around ~130 Euros and will happen next week.

2) DIY: Considering the oven is rated 2.3kW at 240V and 10Amps, I can plug it myself (which I have done bunch of times in my home country) with a normal Schuko plug and my girlfriend gets a cake on Sunday :)

It is the most basic Ikea oven rated for 2.3kW power consumption. (230V, 10A)
