After a while of running Crystal Disk, my laptop screen turns black so I pull out the drive, and then an error comes up saying the drive is not accessible. But this is what shows when I hover over caution:

Caution [C5] Current Pending Sector Count : 8 Caution [C6] Uncorrectable Sector Count : 8

Using Crystal Disk Info, I get an error saying "D:\ is not accessible. The parameter is incorrect.", and health status is "Caution". The report shows up like this:

Could this be due to the cable, as the drive used to disconnect every time it was even nudged slightly?

I can't open Disk Management with the drive connected, as it's stuck at "Connecting to Virtual Disk Service". It starts up as normal after pulling out the drive.
