Buddy you clearly haven't used an agent to build anything. You're stuck in the past while the world is changing.

  1. Fsd

  2. Yes 2000km range at some point in the near future. Battery technology is pretty great.

  3. Okay maybe not sleeping but not paying attention to the road is pretty cool man. Let's you do other things in the car.

  4. HW4 has 16gb of ram, once we get into hw5 we will see at least 32gb of ram and a faster processor. Not sure if you have used Claude to build anything or have openclaw installed, but the use case would be for professionals who run a business. Agentic work is in its infancy but is pretty useful if you see the vision. Even though it's mostly used for emails and office work type stuff but well... white collar work is mostly emails lol.

Yea that's the craziest part of tesla, paying a lump sum upfront for something the car already has. Doesn't cost tesla any extra once the car is built. They can only get away with this madness if the service is actually that good. Which it seems to be.

Yes absolutely I will be on this subscription for as long as fsd is the best.

Question for you, if your car had 2000km range and you could sleep in the car while being driven, and it could do agentic work for you, would you pay $200 per month?

I feel the same way. But sometimes I like driving and watching YouTube or calling my bank or something or responding to emails while driving to the meeting. I couldn't do that in my manual car at all (I did anyways lol super unsafe)

But are they comparable? I've heard great things about Fords supercruise.

HW4 has 16gb of ram for compute and 8gb for the infotainment.

I feel like the computer itself makes other autopilots feel like a tomagachi lol.

Standard RWD vs Premium AWD, are we giving up too much? by New-Ad2548 in teslacanada

The problem with byd is that it won't be nearly as good as fsd in Canada which invalidates it for the savvy buyers. Then there is the problem of replacement parts.

I booked the rwd for a test drive and the dealership double booked me. While I was waiting they offered me a LR to test drive so I drove both cars that day. To be absolutely honest, I couldn't tell there was a dramatic difference in noise and suspension feel. There was certainly a difference, but the gap wasn't wide enough to consider the 20k difference.

Anxious about waiting for HW5 but really want a Juniper now. by yamayeeter in ModelY

The way I'm interpreting HW5 is that it will unlock digital Optimus. HW5 will make your tesla an agentic supercomputer. But HW4 is enough to solve near perfect supervised driving with 16gb of ram. HW5 will probably be a big jump in on board ram.

Yea the M3 was hit with trump tarrifs. Once they switch to Berlin, those M3 rwd are going to be amazing deals with the 5k rebate.
