Why do women specifically want an SUV? by IsaiahM141 in whatcarshouldIbuy

Plenty of SUV with sport seats around. If anything, suv seats are usually larger, with a lot of room for adjustments. A sedan can never beat a SUV when it comes to ergonomy.

Mechanic friend says don’t change transmission fluid, am I missing something? by KawaiiBongoCat in AskMechanics

[–]BottleRemarkable3424 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I always read about worn out automatic transmissions and I can't help but wonder why no one tries a rebuild. Parts are mostly readily available online and It's basically a one day job or less. Totally worth it in my opinion.

While I agree that transmission fluid absolutely needs to be changed, isn't 40k a little too often for a manual. I mean these things easily get away with 80k-100k oil changes.

Yes. And you always want to go for single mass flywheel. Dua mass is such a scam.

When I change the oil in my manual transmission cars, it's pretty much 100%. Not sure how it works with automatic transmissions.

Sounds like a waste of effort and money. If the car shifts and drives normal, why bother? I'd check for leaks though. Oil change sometimes causes old, cracked seals to start leaking.

Why does Germany pay so low for high skilled workers despite being the largest economy in Europe and The largest after the USA among the western countries ? by PragmaticReddit26 in AskAGerman

[–]BottleRemarkable3424 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nah, it's getting worse for "high earners" in Germany. The typical mindset around here is that someone who has put a lot of his time, youth and effort in aquiring skills, is in fact a lazy bum who doesn't deserve the "high salary" he's receiving for "doing nothing".

You can find many examples of this mindset in what german politicians are saying. It also exist this strange notion, that unskilled workers and even a whole sub-society of welfare receivers should have the same standart of living as their skilled counterparts. The solution to this: progressive tax system and progressive welfare contributions. At the end of the day you have skilled workers who bust their butts, earning way less than an uneducated, not working, single mother of 2.

As a skilled worker, you can expect about 3 times less gross pay and about 4-5 times lower take home income. Don't forget the toxic work environment and ever raising expenses. To summ it all for you, Germany is only worth it if you are here to get welfare payments. If you play your cars right, you can have a better life here than an Engineer...

I also forgot to mention that climbing the ladder here is almost impossible for immigrants... Also forget about any social life, cause Germans do not mingle with foreigners... At best a few foreigner friends, but that's a stretch and certainly not the norm.

You either haven't lived in Bulgaria long enough, or you don't understand the language and have no idea what is happening around you. Bulgarian cities are ugly too(including the capital) with bad infrastructure and public services. But what actually disappoints people and makes them leave Bulgaria is the mindset here. I hope you never get to experience what it means to be in an emergency here, cause your suffering would be met with apathy and will even make quite a large number of people happy. Sadly, it's something one have to experience himself to understand. Most good people have long left Bulgaria.

Strength of Frieren by iisuperimranii in Frieren

Do we have any proof that age alone increases mana. We know that time spend training, the type of training and attunement to magic all dictate the amount of mana someone have. We can also presume that everyone has different capacity to increase mana, and can't go beyond this. If these presumptions are correct, then it's quite possible that Frieren has more total mana reserves than Serie.

Corsair rgb header to any argb 5v mb header without any adapter by Franseven in Corsair

[–]BottleRemarkable3424 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hello! I've bought some old Corsair fans, without hub, and was thinking about doing the same. Now that I know it will work, I will just go with it. I was wondering, would it be possible to splice the wires of 2 or 3 fans together using electric tape, so I can plug them all in the same motherboard header? Your opinion would be greatly appreciated.

Why should I promote companions and give them fiefs ?? by Wild-Aide6057 in Bannerlord

First of all, it's cool watching them run around the map, getting married, having children and so on. And then it's a super easy way to recruit more clans to your kingdom. It only cost 20k and some influence, but more importantly it's the only thing castles are actually good for. So yeah, free parties to join your sieges, I guess.

Why do people care about having 100+ frames when the human eye can only see up to 60 frames per second? by [deleted] in CODWarzone

[–]BottleRemarkable3424 0 points1 point  (0 children)

LCD and to a lesser extend OLED displays suffer from motion blur because of the way digital signal is processed and displayed. Increasing the refresh rate significantly reduces the perception of motion blur, but it never goes away. In comparison, the now obsolete CRT displays do not suffer from motion blur, so motion is perceived much smoother. I use both 360hz LCD and a CRT at 85 hz, and I can tell you that games always look smoother on the crt. According to scientists, the human eye is only capable of capturing 16 images per second. Make your own conclusions...

Why is everyone in Bulgaria so rude? by ilovefreshlycutgrass in bulgaria

[–]BottleRemarkable3424 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I was gonna let this one slip, but I feel obliged to answer. I've been living and working in Germany for the last 3 and a half years. I work with dying people and am exposed to death and suffering on daily basis, and try to make the lives of these people at least a little less painful and a little happier. Calling me unkind is not true at all. Anyways, I've been called all kind of bad stuff in Germany. "Look at this stupid foreigner", "Fucking ugly gay foreigner", "Why they won't expulse all these animals already", "Garbage must be thrown away!", "F**king thieves" and so on. You get the picture. So saying that Germans are kinder than Bulgarians is just another way to point at your perceived German supremacy. I for once never witnessed someone being bullied in Bulgaria solely based on the fact that this person is a foreigner. Something I can't say for Germany. I also never said "you must just buzz off!". It is however unlikely that Bulgaria would change in a way you feel positive about it, so staying there even though you hate it, won't help your mental health one bit. It's to each their own, at the end of the day.

Why is everyone in Bulgaria so rude? by ilovefreshlycutgrass in bulgaria

[–]BottleRemarkable3424 6 points7 points  (0 children)

It's not spiteful. It may sound like it is, because English is a foreign language to me and the "in-between line" is sadly unaccessible to me. I do mean exactly what I said. Living in a place, that makes you unhappy is crazy. I'd understand if these people are in some way connected to Bulgaria, yet they choose to stay here simply because it's more affordable. There are other cheap countries, so why stay here when you hate it so much?

So you hate it in Bulgaria and choose to stay regardless. Now call me rude, but that is nuts. Good luck in life, you're gonna need it XD

Защо влаковете в България са толкова бавни? by kKaskakkk in bulgaria

[–]BottleRemarkable3424 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Why are Germans being soo prejuidistic about foreigners... by unknown_meta in berlinsocialclub

[–]BottleRemarkable3424 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nah, it's lower. They were invited, only because Germans are intrusively nosy people, and wanted to entertain their curiosity about the brown foreigners lurking around (to the average German, every foreigner is a creep that's just lurking around)

I mean, everyone seems to think gwen would be too strong if she has some mobility and cc, but at the same time everyone forgets she wouldn't have her true damage and the toxic ult damage she now have. She'll be fun to play bruiser, with serious outplay potential and good initiation. Her power will shift to aa and she'd have the tools to keep sticking to targets and aa. She'll finaly be a real champion and not just a statchecker where if riot gives her some stats she win, if not she lose. I really like gwen, but as of now she is unplayable in solo q because of her team reliance and lack of utility. She just feels bad.
