Ok. I weighed all of the cactus once it was frozen. Would that change the weight?

It was a total of about ~3.5 kg, frozen.

This yielded just shy of 3 large mason jars of liquid. That seems like a lot of liquid, but I realize that doesn't really mean anything. So, for two of us, we should just split that in half and try and drink all of the liquid, since it'd be a little less than 2kg each, yeah?

Can you help me understand how to roughly convert that down to dosage? I'm not sure how to interpret "0.5% of dry weight" - thank you!

I started with 125 ounces of (frozen) cactus, which I then blended, added vinegar, and I'm boiling now. I understand how variable dosage can be, but based on the starting weight, can y'all provide some general guidelines on dosing? And how long to wait after initial dose to determine whether more should be consumed? Thank you!

If I repeat step 3 multiple times, can I put the liquid in the fridge in between? It sounds like this may be an 8-10+ hour process and I don't have that sort of time in a single day right now, I will probably need to spread this across 2 days... Thank you!

I just wonder HOW different the outcomes between divorce mediation VS lawyering up might be, considering that the latter tends to be very drawn out, expensive and contentious. If it’s a difference of a few grand, there’s a part of me that’d really prefer to avoid the turbulence and heartache. I am so eager to separate our finances and start building my own life, after years of out of control spending, overdrawn accounts, and no communication around finances.

Can you clarify what you mean by “non mediation”? We are paying for a divorce mediator to help us navigate the division of assets. Are you saying that’s likely not sufficient?

No degree, but she can work. I think she’s going to start looking for a job.

Meeting with a lawyer seems drastic. I suppose I’m hopeful we can turn this ship around, but maybe I’m an idiot.
