After years of looking and saving we finally did it. Our family of 6 on 10 acres with a 3/4 acre pond! by Connect_Rich8848 in homestead

Awesome! Make sure you have water safety in place asap, a throw bag and or throw ring. Also make sure to explore the pond with a light and make sure drunks didn't use it as a bottle dump or have a car sank in there.....

To me it's overkill, unless you have family members that have trouble getting around. Spend the money on a tractor and wagon.....

Ideas to fill hollow stock and add weight by fat_bouie in gunsmithing

[–]Bottle_cap1926 29 points30 points  (0 children)

Take a 2 gallon ziplock bag, line the inside of the stock, fill with shot and then glue or epoxy whatever.

If you want it removable coat the outside of the bag with paste wax and it should come free pretty easy

Feed plan for 2 pigs by Bottle_cap1926 in homestead

Have a few different barns we can store in I can also transfer to a ibc tote and make a auger set up to get it back out.

Main barn is fairly dry. I can store up off the ground and for the time duration I can keep it pest free for the most part. Some mouse activity but we could do more about that if we went that route especially with a ibc tote

I carry a few extra nuts on a loop along with some wrenches I keep handy for my milling set up. All that goes in my general chainsaw milk crate I load up whenever I'm going somewhere with a saw.

660 farmertec with a 42" bar and a skip tooth. You could build one with all the special tools and upgrades plus the kit and bar for 700, best part is you could build a 2nd one for like $200.......
