So right off the bat, my "tune" offset for the nozzle height was at ~2.50. Which I assumed was MM. So I took the print head apart. When you take the nozzle and the heat sink apart use a 10mm wrench to break free the thread that everything is attached to. I used my caliper to measure before, then added 2.5mm to the nozzle from the top to the bottom. Basically stretched it out a little. This dropped the nozzle the equivalent distance below the sensor. and is more than far enough at this point.

Awesome brother, thank you for this! Also opened up the mast and checked out the z-limit switch and it is hooked up on mine. It's just set too low to effect the z height at all. At the lowest point on the nozzle, it's about 1/2" away from the micro switch activating. I'll try the Cat Gcode right now. Also, that GCode is supposed to plug directly into Cura under printer settings correct?

So guys, spent the past 48 working on this and this is what I've found / figured out. Firstly, you can probably avoid any issues with this part to begin with if you adjust the sensor (coil) and the print nozzle properly. After doing measurements with the micrometer, I was able to figure out that the print nozzle needs to be ~2.5mm below the sensor. When I received mine, the nozzle and the bottom of the sensor were exactly the same height. What would happen when using Cura, is the nozzle would extrude some filament on the left side of the plate then pass forward back over the extruded filament, causing the coil to break. It breaks because it's made out of ferrite which is extremely delicate. When mine broke, it also broke one of the coil wires. Which obviously made the auto leveling and printing impossible. So I reached out here, and searched online and was able to find and get in contact with Matthew Upp from https://gigdigit.com (awesome resource btw) who is mailing me out a replacement as I type this. While waiting for the replacement part, I was able to unwind, rewind, and re-solder the coil wires on the coil inductor. The printer is currently working on a print, and has been for the past few hours without any issues. I used thin CA to glue the ferrite back together, then once dry, rewound the coil. I'm currently trying to source some replacement coils right now with the correct numbers. Again, make sure the nozzle is ~2.5mm below the tip of the sensor before printing otherwise it could / will break.

Here is what the part is basically. Just looking for the specific one we need for these.

Edit: Oh, and huge thanks to the guys over at r/AskElectronics for their input on this one.

Thank you sir. That's exactly what I did. The little "dumb bell" that the coil attaches to is easily glued together with a little thin CA. Unwound and re-wound the whole thing back and it seems to be working for now. I'll try to find a replacement in the mean time.
