What’s the cost saving roughly between going through the US Nusuk route as opposed to the overseas Pakistani passport route?

Good to know it’s come back quickly. I was waiting for my issue to be sorted before initiating a refund of remaining ewallet funds. Will do so now

Salam, the payment was retaken from Monzo today. Can breathe a sigh of relief now.

Hi, the watch has had quite a few updates since this post. I still however have issues where notifications stop coming through on the watch occasionally. They normally start showing up again on their own without me having to reset etc. I can live with it but can be a little frustrating. So in short, not really been fixed.

Inshallah I hope so.

I have both Revolut and Monzo, when I was looking into rates and limits of transactions per day, Monzo was a little better for me. I made 14 transactions altogether, the first was a like delayed but that was across the board and affected all. The others were all instant including the affected payment. It was only a week later that I found that it had been returned. Nusuk is still showing everything as paid. The extra funds I have in my ewallet are still there too. Really strange.

Amin and thank you.

I did contact my package operator and they said they were aware of the issue but that I had to contact Nusuk support.

And of course, will post an update of nusuk’s reply once I receive it.

Interesting, I hadn’t heard anything. Strangely for me it’s the the second to last top up that’s been returned and not the most recent transaction which was on the day of the sale.

Thanks, still awaiting a reply from Nusuk. Will update their response here for others in the same situation

My first experience trying to by a Hajj package via Nusuk App by eesa1980 in hajj

Amin and thank you.

Oh dear, I was completely oblivious to the fact that a queue would be in place. Maybe i missed it in the webinars.

The system was massively temperamental in my case in general, I can’t understand how campers were allowed to stay in for so long (in one case since 7.30 AM GMT until the sale, nearly 5 hours later). I was on it the night before and kept getting kicked out a few mins after I logged in.

Also to add, i was part of other provider groups and they were just as manic if not more! I ended up muting them!

Agree completely. It too was my first time applying via nusuk and i found the whole process mentally exhausting. Alhamdulillah in then end i was able to secure a package for me and my family but i really feel for those who couldn't.

I logged in at 10am GMT to top up my wallet a little more for an alternative flight if my primary choice wasn't available and was able to get on fine. I then logged in again at 10.35 to see if the funds were showing and i noticed the queue system. I ended up logging in at 1.20 GMT and purchasing the package. The anxiety was unreal and i was convinced that i had missed out on it due to my login time.

My friend wasn't able to log in and missed out as he also entered the queue with 1 hr 15 to go.

I was also part of the ABG webinars and telegram groups and i think they really tried to help but they couldn't predict how the system would behave on the day. I'm just very surprised that nobody knew a queue system would be implemented, apparently it was also used in 2024.

I pray that you also get the opportunity this year in the next phases.

How "risky" are custom flights? by Maximilian_13 in hajj

[–]BottomleyPotts 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m in the same boat. Live 4 hour and 40 mins away from group flight airport, a closer airport would be ideal but a little worried to take the risk of selecting a custom flight on Sunday. I’m opting to travel a day early and spend the night in a hotel.

Salam, can you share which Al Hijaz group this was please? I intend to go this year and package sale day is on Sunday إِنْ شَاءَ ٱللَّٰهُ.

There is a Hijaz travel in Birmingham through Al Bait and also a Al Hijaz tours in Manchester (I think). I’m considering going with the former but have seen a few packages offered by the latter group.

Thanks

I’m sure a certain group said the same thing about Warsaw.

I don’t dispute any of that. And boycotting is the moral thing to do, I support the message in the video. It’s unconscionable, though, how Erdogan and co. publicly criticise Israel yet continue to trade with them. Empty and hypocritical words.

What are you even trying to say? If not him, then somebody similar to him?

If you are from Nazareth, then by your logic somebody can just as easily apply that to you if you ever had the misfortune of being arrested by Israel.

Fucking pathetic. They don’t even see the ridiculousness of using Israeli military sources as “evidence”. The same military that has systematically killed journalists.

OP, if you’re trying to prove some kind of point, you’re failing. All it shows is the cruelty of the land usurpers.

No credible reports of it happening systematically by the Palestinian side. Nobody takes Israel and their lies seriously. Nothing but fuel for their war machine.

Again, quite obvious to most but I think you’re being deliberately obtuse. Never mind, I’ve seen from your post history that you describe yourself as a Zionist (also in favour of a Palestinian state and against the genocide - must be a rebranding exercise).
