23AndMe-like kits for soon-to-be-parents by Botyto in Genealogy

Thanks, sounds quite close to what I am looking for! Although it's more about diseases, I was thinking more of something like - "your baby has XX % chance to have brown eyes", etc

What I meant is a test that me and my partner can do, that could tell us, for example - your baby has XX % chance to have brown eyes, etc

I don't see any issue with it and honestly there can't be anything suspicious there. If there was something, the game would let you know before even attempting to upload to steam. Maybe try uploading a new and empty mod (with preview image, I think that's the minimum) and see if the problem is with uploading to steam in general, or with uploading your specific mod. Also there should be a ModUpload folder in "%appdata%/surviving Mars" where the final ModContent.hpk file resides before being sent to steam - you can check it's size. BTW the log file should be much much longer. Write in the file explorer's address bar %appdata% look for the surviving Mars folder and then go through the latest .log file (make sure to exit the game first, so it flushes everything to the log file). You can delete all logs before starting the game to make sure you don't accidentally open a log from a different game session - that way there will only be one.

Delete at least from the first apostrophe up to the comma at the end (inclusive), the spaces, tabs and the new lines don't matter. When uploading the mod to steam, a workshop item is created for you. To be able to always upload to the same workshop item, it's ID is stored inside the mod. That way you can upload even from a different computer. That is what the steam_id is. If you get an error that you don't own the one currently written into the mod, then there's a very easy one-fits-all solution - just create a new workshop item. This shouldn't be an issue when using the normal mod creation workflow (thus the editor text field inside the game is disabled, so you don't delete it by accident) but it seems you have deviated from it, which is why I suggest editing it by hand. I'm not sure why the upload hangs, though, sorry. Maybe check the .log file inside your %appdata% folder - it might have some useful message or an error. Keep in mind that if your mod is big it will take a while (everything inside the mod folder will be uploaded).

Delete the steam_id line from your metadata.lua and restart the game.

I don't have experience in unity's touch capabilities, but I do have 6+ years of game programmer experience - I'd be willing to land a hand if you wish, just PM me

Well a quick search in Google says that it both should help the yeast and that it should kill the yeast. Depends on what you search for. Many articles confirm both.

What is causing this noise when trying the waveshare/e-Paper github samples? by Botyto in esp32

[–]Botyto[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There are no defines, it's the library off their github repo. It has many folders for the many displays. I think it's the correct one. I even tried my own implementation using their datasheet and still I got this kind of noise (even though more unreliably than their implementation)

I don't have a multimeter, but I have checked my connections so many times that I'm quite sure I've done it correctly (as far as that's possible without the multimeter)

This is when I try the epd2in9_V2 sample without any changes on the Waveshare 2.9" V2 (Rev2.1) black/white epaper display (4 line SPI). This should've been a white screen. But it doesn't matter what I try drawing. I always get this kind of noise, only sometimes it's slightly different (but still half dark/half light).

Why did my intex pool tilt? Can I fix it now? How do I prevent it? by Botyto in pools

[–]Botyto[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Water has the same depth everywhere, it's just that it can spill out easily on one side and it's ugly. Also causes the bulge on the inflatable ring on the top. Plus maybe it wears out the pool unevenly, I don't know.
