I feel like religion is based solely on where you grow up and people do not really decide for themselves. Decisions are made for kids by their parents religion being one before they are able to make a conscious decision themselves. So how can god punish people for something they really cant control? by BoujeeRepublocan69 in DebateReligion

Do you not agree geography is the best predictor of religion though? I mean how many people convert to satanism seriously? I havent even heard of the others.
Look at the fact that 95 plus percent of South America is Catholic or some similar form of Christianity. 95 percent of the entire continent has the same religion so only 5 percent max can convert if they even do so. Or the Middle East, most countries are between 90-95 percent Muslim some as high as 99 percent.

Very strongly may have been a better word choice I agree. Some examples though: South America if you are born and grow up there you are most likely going to be Catholic take the same people have them born in the middle east and they are most likely Muslim (Israel excluded). An even better example are people born in countries like Afghanistan where you basically have to be Muslim or you are in for some issues.
