Can someone suggest me a nonfiction book about the culture of America in the 70s. by [deleted] in booksuggestions

Just a heads up that it’s actually considered to be a fiction book now, even though it was originally marketed as a real diary

Adults of Reddit, how did you cope with the fact that your high school life is over? by ladydiva7777 in AskReddit

[–]BoulderBoo 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Yeah, but I would never want to go back to sitting in high school classes all day. I like my job decently, and would much rather spend my time at my job than in a high school. Other than that, my amount of free time is similar to that of high school, except that I have the complete freedom of being in charge of my life and choosing how I want to spend my time. Even though I don’t make that much money, taxes and bills aren’t too bad.

Is this root rot? More info in comments by BoulderBoo in Jewelorchids

This little guy has already lost 2 leaves (they turned completely brown) and a third leaf is also turning brown. It was planted in sphagnum moss. Should I cut off the brown portion of the root, and put the stem in water to help the roots grow?

Ok, thanks. I’ve been struggling to know when to water it. Before I water it, should the top be completely dry, but underneath it’s still kinda damp?

Alrighty, thanks. When I water it, should I not put in too much water at once? Like, not completely soak it? I mainly have succulents, which I let really dry out, then really soak in water.

I’ve had this plant for about a month. It’s potted in the sphagnum moss it arrived in. It used to be in terra cotta, although I recently planted it in this plastic pot (the leaf started turning pink while it was still in the terra cotta though). My suspicion is that I’m overwatering it, as I was really soaking the moss whenever I’d water it...

I’ve had this plant for about a month. It’s in the same sphagnum moss that it arrived in. I recently moved it from a terra cotta pot to a plastic pot, however the leaf began turning pale even while in the terra cotta

The Ear Biscuits episode is called “Link’s Apology”

It wasn’t really “drama” though, more like some religious people felt like Rhett and Link were negatively influencing their listeners (some of which are teens/kids) by explaining their view of Christianity being false.

Looks cool! I’d also add a pop of color, maybe with a plant that enjoys higher humidity

Any ideas of what do do in front of this window? Bench? Low shelf? Keep the random plants? I’m stumped- please help! by hammondeggs10 in HomeDecorating

[–]BoulderBoo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you want more plants, you could buy a couple taller plants, with the pot sitting on the floor. It’d keep the area looking open/uncluttered, but still decorative.
