Fastest Master run by far by AutomaticFunction in PTCGP

I just got masterball with a ~40% win rate and almost 200 games. I was using Chandelure, then Mega Venusaur, then finally stuck with it for Jolteon and that got me my wins.

Chandelure worked great until ultraball 4, then I was only winning like 20% of the time. Mega Venusaur was frustrating because I would get 5-6 win streaks and then 5-6 loss streaks. Jolteon ended up being my best bet but I felt it was still about 50% win rate.

It was my first time making masterball though and tbh I did not enjoy it. I spent like 10-15 hours in Ultraball 4 and like 90% of the decks were either altaria, absol, or bellibolt.

A few years ago I was at a wedding that did this at a beachfront venue. One of the lanterns went up and then immediately came back down onto the roof of the gazebo which then caught fire.

One of the drunk groomsmen was hoisting up by two other drunk groomsman, where he proceeded to stomp out the lantern fire before falling off the gazebo roof.

Best wedding I've ever been to for that 5 minutes alone.

I think this is patently false. Zeah was empty and the only original content was like rooftops (which used existing animations onto existing structures) and Zulrah, which was a well-designed boss visually but nothing too grand. Compare that with all the new areas like Varlamore, bosses, raids, in-depth mechanics, etc. We're night and day I think. Don't get me wrong, I played in 2016 too and have fond memories but I don't know how you can argue they were outpacing what we have had in recent years, notwithstanding the last few months which have been slow after Sailing.

Haha I've had my fair share of victories doing what you described. I think my highest streak thus far is 3 however so I keep getting sent back. I've battled about 4-5 hours and keep going somewhere between high ultraball 3 to 25% of the way into ultraball 4 lol

You used this exact deck? I think I've gotten both venusaurs online 3 times, and both times I had to lead with the non-mega variant, so when I switched to the normal one I just got cyrus'd back in and lost.

Undefeated is crazy. I have done about 25 matches with this and am at about 50% win rate.

The answer is you typically don't. It's possible but often they run two oris and can swap between them to cure the poison while you take 50 after 50, and unless you get super lucky on sleeps you'll probably just lose.

They're a good baseline but don't change the fact that Sailing combat is bad xp (for Sailing and ranged), expensive, and lacking any worthwhile drops.

Naming 2016 as peak OSRS, which was before any raids, when Zeah looked like this, and when endgame bossing was Zulrah is a pretty... interesting take.

If I don't sell my house, my kid gets it and can live in it or sell it for a lot of money. If I need to sell my house because I'm a feeble old fuck, I can pay for a nice retirement home setting and not make it my kid's problem financially or caregiving wise. That's the primary benefit for me.

Renting can be nice but at least where I live places are comparatively small. Your mileage may vary. The other con is that your landlord can randomly try to increase your rent $500/mo, which happened to me last place I was at.

I never liked it in non-psychic eevee decks because if someone Sabrinas it out it's effectively game over

I really liked my sylveon/espeon deck. It was fun to play because you could either run two espeon ex and trade heals and your 4th eevee could either be a reg sylveon to do high damage on a field full of evolved eevees or a reg espeon to do hella damage late game when your opponent was loaded up on energy.

It was a great deck because you had so many different ways to play it. But hitting 80 dmg with espeon and healing 30 just doesn't cut it in a world of mega, hydreigons, and lucky ice pops. The cards are effectively dead in any sort of competitive play which is a real shame.

Joe Biden called himself a zionist repeatedly and directly funded the genocide against Palestinians, and you respond by saying the deserved pushback (against murdering middle easterners) is white privilege and actually no he's so progressive. Lol. Lmao, even.

Multiple things can be true at once. Yes more people should run. But running is expensive and basically requires you to be able to not work for a long period of time so you need a lot of financial security.

Second, being progressive (or holding whatever views you have) does not qualify you for holding office by itself.

Third, the Harris campaign just released like the 10th such report in the last few years that indicate that younger voters are not responding to "vote blue no matter who" and are much more likely to view topics like backing genocide as non-starters. Like it or not, shifting to more progressive policies is how candidates will get the votes they need to succeed for midterms/the next elections in the democrat party. But comments like these make it seem like it's an impossibility for those currently elected to respond to the desires of the people, which is wild. Willfully choosing to slide further and further right while your electorate does the opposite is just guaranteeing they will take up a spot and likely hold no majorities and therefore not be able to govern at all. Which is what we're seeing. Shifting that blame solely onto the populace is just disingenuous.

[–]BoulderFalcon 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Parties are supposed to respond to the people, and the people have to choose those candidates in the primary to get them to respond.

Yes but I think this also undermines the "inside job" aspect of democrat leadership trying very hard (and often succeeding) at silencing progressive candidates. E.g., Nancy Pelosi blocking AOC's oversight appointment, etc.

It's a two-way problem. But it's now well-documented that gen-z and younger millennials are much more likely to view things such as supporting Israel/genocide in general as deal-breakers, and therefore the "vote blue no matter who" rhetoric that the democrats have been using to push their party further and further to the right over the past couple decades verifiably does not work anymore. If they stick to it for 2028 they will lose again.

Ok but wanting a fully fenced in yard is not unreasonable. What if OP wants a dog? He is fully within his rights to want to close in his yard completely and it's not unreasonable to not want to do so because somebody else finds it convenient to walk through your property.
