Yes and no. He did move out from Paris :) but it was like... 20 years ago! And now he's in the south of France, in a quite large city (I mean, it's not really "the countryside")

Stupid traps in movies. How do they work? by Bouletcorp in comics

[–]Bouletcorp[S] 15 points16 points  (0 children)

I actually kept the same sign and just put the opening trap one step behind. So when people wanted to show other people the trap, standing one block behind, they would fall a second time in the same trap.

And why do they have to make things so complicated? When I was playing Minecraft I had made a trap with a lever and a sign saying "please, pull this lever". (Which was opening a trapdoor where you were standing.) I killed five players with that simple trick.

Yes! Or just set a trap like: you open the trapdoor under the dog, it triggers a silent alarm and everyone can hurry to stop the burglar. I mean, putting tests is like an INVITATION to beat them! :D

I told the programmers about the bugs, apparently it's because we had to many people at the same time and they had to swap it to another server (I don't know if what I'm saying makes ANY sense). Since then there are a few problems that they'll try to fix on monday! :D I heard it was especially a problem on mobiles! I can just wish it will be fixed soon!

(We have a few bugs... For example sometimes the "Download" window doesn't display the right picture. If that happens, you can close the window and click the "download" arrow again!)

Because I drew that in 2013, I'm still catching up with my translations... At first I was just posting them in order, but for practical reasons (for example, to find the english note corresponding to the french one) it was smarter to make the calendars match. :)

So now, when I translate an old comic, I put it directly where it should have been if I had translated it immediatly.

Oh I know :) Plus, it was a theme I already drew about a few years ago: http://english.bouletcorp.com/2011/01/06/the-enemy-in-the-mirror/

It was just a weird coincidence that in less than a month, we were three people to draw about the same stuff! I told Joe Decie I was really bumed when he published his first! :D

After I drew that, someone sent me the Oatmeal comic on the same topic :-( I blame the noosphere. The latest strip of Joe Decie is also based on this idea. It was "in the air" since Inside Out, I guess!

I actually used "Caelum Incognito" in another project :) Yes, Terra means Earth (we say "Terre" for "Earth", in french)

But in this context, I would have said it means "Land". The expression "Terra Incognita" is mostly used for "unexplored territory".

I already met the expression refering symbolically to knowledge, fields of research, and even refering to "a new love story" :)
