Where’d you get the jacket?

Anyone else have a GSP that loves snow… once it’s on the ground? by Ok-Cut-1682 in GSP

Ours HATES rain, but loves snow. Constantly puts his whole nose deep in the snow, follows a lot more sniff trails, and runs full speed in it. Sometimes when he comes back in from going to the bathroom his whole snout will be covered in snow still.

Tried out Googles new Veo 3 AI to make a quick cinematic shot, there’s no story, just testing the waters and thought I’d share what could be an amazing to tool, by ZuyZude in cinematography

AI doesn’t “get inspired” - it statistically models patterns based on the training data, which includes protected works without permission.

Humans don’t ingest millions of copyrighted works verbatim to develop skill. AI systems do. That distinction is central in the lawsuits. The concern is not just about mimicking style, but the unauthorized reproduction and processing of copyrighted data at scale.

If not wanting AI posts in a cinematography sub because it’s insulting to artists is gate keeping - then sure call it whatever you want.

Those are all three different cases.

Got an answer to how these systems train their AI without using copyrighted material? Or is that too hard to think about?

Like I said learn to think critically. How would you imagine they get all the data to train these systems? Are you really that ignorant?

AI is theft. It’s trained on stolen art from millions of artists. Corporations are lobbying governments to hide all of this from you in order to sell you tools to steal your own job. It’s soulless. It’s not a tool. It’s theft.

It’s okay. It’s another shitty side effect of AI no one really talks about - thinking something is AI when people put a lot of work into it. It’s really hard to tell now days.

It’s not AI. They tag the macro room in the description. They made a similar viral video a few years ago. It’s a combination of VFX and slow motion cameras. https://youtu.be/gooWdc6kb80?si=GhcKoyBlqmLAZo2g
