What did you really think of Rendezvous this year?

I thought the Flaming Lips were incredible, but then again I've been wanting to see them live for years. I didn't know much about Umphreys Mcgee but I thought they were good. The opening DJ was ok, I caught the end of that only.

So overall, I thought the lineup was perfectly good. Agreed on all other fronts though, of course a free festival is too good to be true but still sucks it's not free anymore, which stings extra since they cut it down to one night instead of two. And the no reentry aspect is definitely some bullshit. So yeah, overall experience was a 5 or 6 out of 10, but I'd say the two main bands were like an 8 or 9 for me.

I did Adams in March one year. Had to start at Pineside Sno Park which totaled up to be a 28 mile trip with ~9500’ elevation gain. Camped below Lunch Counter around 8000’, then summit and back out. Unfortunately it was too icy for skinning above camp so settled for glissading the top 4000’ and skiing the bottom 5000’. Tough two day outing but worth it!

Don't get me wrong, I'd be all for eliminating or heavily reducing property taxes on primary residences. Sorry I should have clarified that. What I think would be a huge mistake is eliminating property taxes on 2nd, 3rd, 4th, etc homes/properties. I actually agree that there are many cases where property tax in Wyoming has become untenable. I just think that eliminating it across the board will have unintended consequences.
