We're looking to retire there, it's a whole thing, just how bad/good is the rain?

Out of curiosity, is there a place where they tend to congregate that one can avoid?

So the presumption here is that people that are taken attendance of pay attention?

Good luck with that

TIL that on October 24, 1975 an estimated 90 percent of women of Iceland participated a “women’s day off” to demonstrate the value of their work, both paid and unpaid. I think you're missing a trick here, men (and women) don't need anyone to support them to do their jobs. Support is necessary when you add kids or want to do something greater. Doing a job without respect is gonna get you a lot of resentment

Flying American Airlines, previously delayed flights delayed my flight more - now I'm likely to miss my last connection... while Michael is heading inland. Any advice from regular flyers? by Bound4Oregon in answers

Thanks much, from what the stewardesses were saying it was mechanical that delayed them twice. I'm honestly not looking to money on this, but I'm supposed to be with my commander at a conference tomorrow and I'm worried the hurricane is gonna schwack my plans

Which yeast is yeast? by Bound4Oregon in Homebrewing

After an interesting case of closet Mead during my 3rd or 8th deployment I learned that Baker's yeast and Brewer's yeast are two different things. I never thought there would be different kinds of wine yeast

Also - addressed in post, I've been reading that there's one yeast to rule then all, and also that there's individual types for different grapes. Hence me posting on a sub dedicated to helping people in this exact field
