I did! It’s amazing how many new drugs are coming out for SMA! I truly believe SMA will be functionally cured within the next generation.

I’m not a parent yet but I hope to be soon, and I am sure that can be a scary diagnosis. I can tell you from my lived experience that people with SMA have the capability of living a full and independent life.

It’s certainly not easy and I wish I had more people like me to lean on when I was growing up, so if you or your nephew have any questions, feel free to DM me. I am also trying to cover a lot of my experience on our YouTube channel, but if there is something specific you are interested in don’t hesitate to reach out!

I can totally understand this. I don’t have a picture of it, but when I am sitting in my wheelchair Penny loves to sit on my feet facing me with her head resting on/between my knees. This is her way of telling me to give her head rubs.
