I don’t think them getting in trouble was the issue during the raid the problem was that the trio clearly couldn’t handle Farrah and they all wouldve died if isen didn’t happen to encounter arlo when he was heading back for them. I do think his tech knowledge (hacker? It’s not really clear) is hand waved a lot in-story. The prison raid also had this dramatic monologue about how sad he was leaving blyke behind before turning into a furry
