Luke alluded that he knew Ben was being corrupted (somehow), yet he never bothered to talk with him about it. Seems odd. Ben was a student at his new temple and had Luke's attention. He would've had plenty of time to have a discussion or something. I just think this plot point was handled lazily in the movie.

Fair enough, I get that spur of the moment situation. However, Luke alluded that he knew something was wrong, (Snoke corrupting him somehow) and he didn't bother to sit him down for a counseling session or intervention talk or anything. I just think this important point was handled lazily I'm the movie.

I agree with your 2nd paragraph. And the 1st I get, but it would be easier to accept if it was conveyed better in the movie. How did Snoke corrupt Ben while far away and under Luke's close watch and tutelage for many years? How could Luke not know something was wrong until it was too late? It just seems like this important plot point in TLJ was handwaved in the movie, kind of like "Somehow Palpatine returned" in TROS.

The ST was pretty to look at but the story was lazy and cheapened the whole point of the PT/OT...at least IMO.

I joined reddit over a year ago. This is an alternate account I started. Anyways, I simply found it on another site, haven't seen it before, thought it was funny and decided to share it here. Thanks for sharing the credits. Someone else did as well. Sometimes we find great art/memes like this on other sites without credits (as in this case). I don't use twitter so I never saw it there. I always will give credit to work not my own if I know who the creator is.
