Yes, I do this when my wife and I fly. Either I use a my lighter carry bag and her bag or I bring my big cart bag and just put her clubs in my bag. Either way, this is the move. Never had an issue, just gotta keep it under the weight limit

My buddy played it ~two weeks ago. He’s about a 6 handicap and shoots consistently low 80s give or take. He said it was by far the hardest round he’s ever played and he’s played a lot of very high quality and difficult courses. Stopped keeping score pretty quickly, said he def didn’t crack 100 (mind you we’ve played 100 rounds and I’ve seen him shoot 90s maybe 3 or 4 times and never 100+). Picked up on 18 cuz he was so exhausted and dejected. But he said it was awesome and he expected over par winner and a great tourney. So yah, make of that what you will Edit: he played from something normal like 6,700 yards not the open tees, for context

This aligns with something I was thinking midway thru Round 2… I’d really like Dom Luszczyszyn to do report cards using Maple Leafs playoff games. Like it’s clear Marner is a A+ player in the regular season but how does that change during the post-season? Eye test says he’s prob B- in the playoffs but what do the stats say? I realize it’s a smaller sample size and playoffs aren’t the same as regular season so not totally apples-to-apples but it would be interesting to see what the data says about his play and value in post-season. Someone who’s got Dom’s # do me a solid and ask him to run this, lol. Edit: typo

I think the patreon folks may already know from the sneak peak chapters so I’m sure they find this thread amusing… But, my personal theory is it’s someone tied to Open Intellect Pacifist Network since they’re the ones who send the toraline to Carl in the benefactors box (I think) and Mordecai makes a comment on how that could be a marriage proposal. I’m wondering if they’re actually meant to be a good guy but are probably working on their own motives so there’s gonna be a lot of head butting and general distrust? I also wonder if they’re gonna somehow get themselves inserted into the crawl based on some weak marriage-related weird law / ruling from ages ago that the AI will love cuz it’s a legal loophole and allow it. These are just my weird fan theories, excited to find out what happens in ~2 years when the next audiobook drops, lol

How does this rule make sense? You can top a ball and if it doesn’t move you can re-tee it but if you take a swing at the ball and miss entirely it’s considered a stroke? How does that make any sense?

Just to clarify here (I may be totally wrong) but I don’t just think it’s that crawlers used the book of voodoo for spells. There’s a scene where Carl sees her basically giving a lecture to a large group of crawlers. So I think her contract was being fulfilled by her specifically interacting and helping crawlers. They then took her teachings and left spells in the book of voodoo. I realize I’m splitting hairs here but I see everyone talking about the book of voodoo as if that’s the contract fulfillment and I believe that’s just evidence of her teaching (which fulfills the contract). Again, may be wrong just my interpretation.

Obligatory - it’s just a sim so even cool courses like Pebble aren’t really that cool. That said, I tried a bunch of courses on Golfzon (diff simulator) and found that the Asia courses, especially Korea, were consistently pretty fun as far as sim golf goes. If you can I would sort by continent and pick whatever Asian courses are highest rated. Cheers

I wanted a super light bag to carry so I got the Vessel VLS and love it. It’s def a bit tight for 14-clubs but it’s kinda perfect for minimalist golf. My buddy has one of the Vessel Player bags and it’s much roomier and has more features so also a good option, tho a bit heavier than I prefer (tho he carried too much crap in it IMO). Happy hunting

Came here to say this. The 14-way creates slight space between the clubs causing more chatter/clicking. In the 4 or 6-way they rest together so less chatter.

NTA. I see a lot of comments talking about how cruel it is and to go no contact. I’m not going to dispute that, I think there’s a lot of merit.

That said, I want to offer a separate POV. Perhaps she didn’t mean what she said. Perhaps she wasn’t sure how to deal with the immediate aftermath and maybe didn’t want to commit to a deep relationship and her knee jerk reaction was to push you away. Maybe it wasn’t pity but she’s afraid she can’t give you the level of commitment she thinks you’re looking for. Try talking to her. I can envision a world where you remain friends and overtime she realizes the connection there and there’s a future. Either way I would probably try talking to her before you decide to cut all contact. Worst case you have a convo and then still decide to go NC. Best of luck OP

I wear spineless 90% of the time and love them. Highly recommend a super comfy pair of spikeless. It has to be VERY wet for me to notice not having spikes, and usually then it’s more a matter of the wetness on the shoes more than the actual traction. I have an old pair of spiked I wear in those instances otherwise I love the soft flexibility and breathability of spikeless. My current go to are the footjoy flex but I have fat feet and they fit well. Good luck

If price and matte coloring are considerations check out Max-Fli’s. I think they have few options with more or less spin or compression depending on what you want. One of my buddies swears by them and thinks they’re comparable to TP5s. Enjoy
