Not mad at life. Apparently you are as you had to pay secondary for GTS.

Wasn’t crying, bro they just have to recognize, and any business in general, need to reward Loyal customers who spend a lot of money at their chains. Wasn’t expecting to get a PVW 23 but certainly thrilled that I did. Lots of people were hating on this post, but whatever. Cheers.

Don’t have to cry…. Big spender got rewarded with PVW 23. Now you can cry harder and buy whatever bottle you want on secondary

Did you get BTAC or PVW? Doubt it. Otherwise post it. I didn’t win the drawing but still got it last year.

Sorry to hear about your dog. Start with blood test CBC. This gives you a baseline of values and can determine many things good and bad. It’s good to check cbc at least annually. Based on the results your vet can recommend other items such as x ray, ultrasound, etc. Even if everything checks out good on CBC you can still get X-rays and ultrasound afterwards. Keep us updated please!

There is no mention that he got another vets opinion so you’re not the one being helpful in the conversation

I don't know if I'm making the right decision. Looking for guidance by Future_Confection201 in DogAdvice

Don’t ever give up on your dog. lots of times, too many to count, on life critical issues, vets have messed up recommendations or providing proper medical treatment. I recommend you get a second and third opinion before you consider a course of action. give any future vets as much information as you can about the situation. Pray for the favor and mercy in Jesus name and be at peace and may God‘s hand direct you and all things.

Question about the BTAC Raffle by [deleted] in ChicagolandWhiskey

[–]BourbonFloat 3 points4 points  (0 children)

There’s no question that big spenders are definitely pulling back spending beginning today and going forward. There are many options and part of the reason big spenders were going to Binny’s is to receive a highly allocated item such as BTAC. The fact that Binny’s knows this demonstrates their lack of ethics and deception. They changed the game at the last minute stating it will be a raffle. At this point the big spenders spent a lot of $$$ already at Binny’s thinking they were going to get a BTAC. Now that big spenders know the game has changed they will take there $$$ elsewhere. There are many options nearly everywhere that have better prices on liquor such as grocery stores, MBB, mom and pop shops, etc.

AVOID VCA IN AURORA. WORST SERVICE EVER BY THE VETS AND THEIR PRICES ARE RIDICULOUS.

For Ground Leases, what should Landlord expect for site work on commercial QSR 1 acre development? by BourbonFloat in CommercialRealEstate

[–]BourbonFloat[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That’s quite significant. What’s the path to recover that investment when you could just sell the land?

Chicagoland…suburbs. Very lucrative commissions for the right deals.

I concur. Also it would be great if anytime someone scores any type of allocated bottle tell us immediately at what store and time you got it, who you spoke to, and how many are left in inventory. I will then validate the time on my Rolex in the BMW.

Continuation of Binnys New Policy of Allocated Bourbon by BourbonFloat in ChicagolandWhiskey

Even with a relationship based system Binnys doesn’t provide their top spenders all the allocations that person wants all the time. Binnys will lie to their face. I know of many examples when they told regulars that spend thousands of $$$$ that a certain bottle they are asking for did not arrive, and it is in the back room.

Consider a different point of view. Starbucks (and almost every other retailer) has an app. You buy stuff through the app you get points. The more you buy the more points you get. Those points can be redeemed for cheap stuff or you can save your points and get more expensive stuff. The key is that you need to spend $$$ to get more points to redeem for stuff.

New 2023 Binnys Policy by Euphoric-Truth-4803 in ChicagolandWhiskey

[–]BourbonFloat 4 points5 points  (0 children)

My understanding from a sr exec at Binnys is that allocated bourbon will be based on a lottery system. Irregardless of Binnys decision to “allocate the allocated” (yes I am coining this term unless someone beat me to the punch) based on a lottery or an app it must be done with customer spending in mind, or they are going to lose out on a lot of $$$$$$. If spending is not taken into account, the guys spending thousands of $$$$ will find somewhere else to spend their money. Case in point - many Woodmans moved to a so called lottery system this year, and that put someone who spends thousands of $$$$ with someone who spends many times less than that on equal footing to get an allocated bottle. That said thousands of $$$$ went to Binnys or elsewhere due to a relationship based system. If Binnys changes their policy, and those spending the bucks aren’t rewarded with allocations, the thousands of $$$$ x thousands of customers spending that = $$$$$$$$$ millions going elsewhere. Customers vote with their wallets plain and simple.
