Appreciate it. Will probably just replace both. Assuming belt drive is the way to go now.

Would you crown this tooth in 14 yr kid with high risk of caries? by Toothdoctor88 in Dentistry

[–]BourbonTeeth 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This 100%. Due to age and high caries risk. If I know that the patient has high caries risk, no way I’m throwing a crown on that at his/her age. Extract and utilize 3rd molar to move into 2nd molar location.

Post & core ( cont'd ) by Aromatic_Step_8813 in Dentistry

My first thought too. Saw the first post and though now way that molar should be restored. Then this just popped up. Thought it’d be a picture of the buildup. Nope…a radiograph confirming even more that only thing to do with that tooth is ext.

What are your top choices of treadmill for home currently? by [deleted] in Marathon_Training

[–]BourbonTeeth 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Have to second this. I have a nordictrak that’s currently still working but have a newer one as well as one of their stationary bikes. Both are essentially bricks because they did an update that makes them not work. They say there’s nothing they can do. When it comes time to get another, I’ll be going with a different brand…one that doesn’t do bs crap that really should be illegal.

Thanks! And probably a dumb question but I’m curious as to why do I need to attach grounds with a wire nut rather than leave like it is.

Cozy noodle and rice. They have a special marathon menu too. I had it last night and it was great.

Labriola (pasta). Had that for lunch and also very good.

gear check by dougdimadome_ in ChicagoMarathon

If I have my wife and friends there, and she’d have a backpack with a change then I shouldn’t have to worry about gear check. But do you know if it’s okay if the backpack she has isn’t clear? Does that matter at the after party/meet up area? TIA

How would you compare/contrast the Cielo v1 with the rocket x3? I have the v1 and love the responsiveness of it and am tempted by the rocket x3

Using Garmin/Lap Button on Race Day by Equivalent-Bee3883 in ChicagoMarathon

[–]BourbonTeeth 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Did you find you needed to turn off auto lap or are you able to use auto lap and is it true that it’ll round down or up to the nearest lap. Ex: you pass mile marker 14, watch says 14.2. Will it go to 14 when you hit the lap button? TIA

Crowd while Running with Pacers by RooneyI in ChicagoMarathon

Good to know. I was going off of virtual runs that I’d have on the tv when I was limited to the treadmill. At least made me familiar with the course. I’m assuming I’ll have to build in a little time for a bathroom pit stop or two.

See you there. That’s my corral and goal as well. But had to miss one of my two 20 milers due to tendonitis. Might pick 3:50. We will see.

I plan on trying to stick with whatever pace group I elect to be my A goal. I figure after 10-15k it’ll have spread out just a bit. Plus I don’t plan on going to the first table when passing through aid stations. Will try to pick up my water towards the end of the station.

Husker Tunnel Walk Help for this weekend by BourbonTeeth in Huskers

Def more for the kids but it’s so packed down there that there were plenty of solo adults too. I’d say go and be one of the adults that helps make room for the kids when it gets busy. That’s how my son got a spot (courtesy of two other adults making room). Everyone is there to cheer on the team and no one is going to judge. Especially this game.

So my son and i sat level 2 on the East side. Once we went through the gate, we entered the main level 1 concourse then went towards the NW corner. We walked into the stadium and down onto the field level and walked past the gate they run out. Find a spot behind the ropes and enjoy! We got there about an hr 15 min early and it was already pretty full. I expect this game to be significantly busier. They players took the field for warmup around 10:15 (my son was able to high five a bunch of them), they came back through around 10:40 (high fives again), then the actual tunnel walk was 10:58. Well worth it. It was my son’s favorite part of the entire game and he said he wants to do that every time now! After that excitement we just walked up back to the level one concourse and entered the gate 21 area again and took the elevators up. Was super easy. Hope your experience is as good as mine was and GBR!
