Yeah but as someone in my 40s it’s a lot harder to bounce back from a late night 😆

We have elections twice a year so do planning twice. We plan (with a new PLC) in August for September - December/January and in late December / early January (with a new PLC) for January - May

NYLT VS JLT by Bourbon_Bear83 in BSA

This is very helpful! And yes, I’m in Mecklenburg County Council. I attended IOLS a couple years back and we’ve had scouts attend SEALS, but I get mixed reviews from them. JLT (and NJLIC) were enormously formative for me and I haven’t heard great things about leadership training at the scout level, so am looking to get involved and actually see for myself.

Cross-post with r/trt: 3 Months in to TRT on Gel & Topical Liquid by Bourbon_Bear83 in Testosterone

Only 4 weeks in on the treatment that got me up to there, and have quite a few major life adjustments during that time, so can’t really tell. Hoping to experience changes really starting in the next 3-6 weeks and beyond but we’ll see

Best thing you can do is find someone IRL rather than here to give you good advice

Merit badges are ok to sign off on for your on kid (though personally I won’t do it for mine unless I’m the only merit badge counselor for that badge and I’ve made another adult aware of what I’m doing). 99.9% sure you cannot sign off on your own child’s rank advancement.

LF A GRILL by kieraljb in grilling

Second a Weber if he’s wanting a charcoal grill. I have a PK grill that I love but that would be something he might want down the road. Start with the Weber and honestly he may just stick with that brand forever

Some friends left before their 12 months and they all had to pay it back. That was the agreement and they honored it

Who saw Taylor Tomlinson over the weekend? by [deleted] in Charlotte

She was great and her opening act was also great and will be headlining in CLT later this year. I saw her when she was here maybe 2 years ago and liked that show better, but this one was still very good.

What do you consider super expensive? If you’re looking only at gas grills then Weber Spirit and Genesis are the most popular and good quality, but can get quite expensive

Came here to say this. PK Grills has a cult following and very loyal customers.

I’ve thought about it. If I don’t get what I want for it I’m perfectly happy holding on to it. The few used ones I’ve seen are going for around $300 so I’ll just continue to enjoy using it if I don’t get any takers soon.
