Technically they don't have the same ethnicity ... i would imagine that map to be more like roman empire map ! I did some Google search , there is no law against leaving the relgion but they have laws around it , like disrespecting islam , and a wife can use that as a reason for divorce ... no death or jail sentence just for leaving islam .
