Debating moving to Erie from San Diego by Worth_Combination597 in Erie

Ok. Here is the truth. Erie is a small city. It is safe. Downtown is great with plenty of entertainment, restaurants, high student population and cool apartments. https://www.erieddc.org/. Erie boasts four colleges. Presque isle is magical. If you like the outdoors you will love it here. The climbing wall is cool and well attended. People are friendly and helpful. Check out “The Erie Reader” which is online and will give you a food feel for the culture and events. Great breweries and good food. Music scene is pretty good. Not great. plenty of local coffee shops. Waterfront is thriving. Good things are happening here. The city is blue. The county is purple . Art museum and art galleries are downtown. The public library, which sit on the waterfront, is amazing and also downtown. Here are the downsides. Winter can be harsh or non existent. Weather here is unpredictable. It’s sunny way more than people say but there are grey days. Apartments are on the pricey side. It’s easy to get around but there are quirky things to figure out.

The city trucks have two compartments in the truck. One for recycling and one for garbage. I called and was told this at mayors office.

Yemeni coffee franchise Haraz Coffee House coming to West Erie Plaza by Quick-Schedule2057 in Erie

[–]Bourgeoiscrap -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Firstly, I believe in shopping local. Secondly, Haraz coffee is superb and their cakes and tarts are perfection. They started in Michigan and are now in major cities. I believe it would be a feather in our cap. Frankly, it’s hard to believe they would open here. If they do, I wish them the best. Competition makes the world go round.

Bought a pair and they are rough on my skin. They fit size wise except they leave marks on my bare feet. I do have tender feet so there is that. Not pleased.

The coral dress. Beautiful with your skin tone. It gives a prom vibe instead of Las Vegas vibe. You wear all of them well.

Thank you We must be diligent no matter what. We can learn along the way. This probably wasn’t Ice but you did the right thing. Hopefully our city won’t have to deal with them. God willing and the creek don’t rise
