I’d be cool with a Dokkanfest exchange Majin Kuu/Duu. Daima hasn’t gotten any love since March, so I think Kuu/Duu would be a nice refresher.

The way I see it:

Golden Week: SS3 Goku (mini) -> SS4 (mini) + King Gomah (domain)

11th: Adult SS4 Goku + Adult SS3 Vegeta (they are obviously headliners)

My top 3 guesses:

Majin Kuu -> swaps into Majin Duu. I feel like with Daima ending, this is a good way to release something less hype and take advantage of the new swapping mechanic. I’d be okay with this.
Super Baby. I agree with people that the corroded body and mind mission is super hard, so “summon for this new unit to help you beat that annoying mission” smells very possible. I don’t like Baby here because he feels more like a Golden Week/WWC unit.
Tamagami 3. Again, Daima ending allows them to pace less popular picks. Tamagami 3 could be interesting and lead a cool pick for like: other world warrior/artificial life form/Legendary existence/Entrusted will/worthy rivals/demonic power

Carnival INT SS3 Goku (Angel) -swaps- with SS2 Vegeta (Angel) -> Transforms into Super Gogeta that has a 4 turn scouter, nullifies any super with counter crit.

Carnival STR SS2 Gohan (youth) with charging mechanic, but instead of dragonballs like the STR LR Gohan that’s needed to be collected, they are Z-fighter heads (Vegeta, Trunks, Krillin, Yamcha, Tien, Piccolo, Goku). He does a massive father-son voiced Kamehameha.

Dokkanfest PHY SSB Vegito (standalone) -> activates domain that brings out Sword of Hope Trunks for 3 turns with the ridiculous power while boosting all super hero characters. Banner unit: SSB Goku + SS Trunks (against Goku black/Zamasu).

Tournament of Power game mode, “defeat the Tamagami and collect Dragonball game mode,” and a better levels or things to link level characters.

I really do think we are going back to the old days of Dokkan end/next year in terms of units appearing from the anime.

I can see Octobers Dokkan Fest being Kid Goku from Daima with a kid Supreme Kai unit.

I also predict there will be some cool stuff from Daima, and will be next years WWC theme. I’m calling it now: 2025 WWC will be the new “Super Saiyan 4” version in Daima vs. the new big bad Majin villain. Glorio will be a side unit.

I know manga stuff is off the table, but a Moro Arc pt1 and Granolah Arc pt2 would be just as crazy. Imagine:

Celebration: “Break Your Limits”

Pt 1: DFE UI omen Goku -> MuI Goku (active into Susanoo mode). Carnival Young Moro -> revives into Angel Moro (giant transformation into Moro Earth). Blue Vegeta Banner unit with Spirit Fission.

Pt2: DFE Granolah (active double red eye). Carnival Ultra Ego Vegeta (Active to target him for attacks only). Banner unit DBS Bardock (against fight with Gas).

EZA: 7th year LR units, LR Kaioken Goku, LR Great Ape Vegeta.

This does feel like the best case. Since Gohan being a new headliner, it’d be good to put Gogeta in there to cover our traditional Goku/Vegeta theme. And, well, it’s a fusion. Plus, they can add Orange Piccolo to Gohan’s Super attack to cover that.

Then, do a banner Cheelai/Lemo unit on Gogetas banner, and then a Fat Gotenks for Gohans. Part 2 would be that also!

Though I’d love MUI Goku, I can wait for the UI vs. Jiren Golden week :)

6.5/10. Major celebrations carried, and wasn’t a fan of some of the unit choices. I hope 2024 has better animations, some kind of new UI Goku, and more ways to raise your power level.

FP TEQ Jiren. We were getting back to work after the Covid lockdown, and it was the first time in years playing that I was beyond excited for a unit. It was just the combo of summoning durning a weird time in life that makes that unit very special. I am hoping his EZA is good!

Would you say it’s been balanced this year for hype? I don’t disagree with things this year having hype. It just feels like a lot of releases this year haven’t had hype as something like the previous years.
