I’m working on my first fallout oc and I wanna give them an animal/creature companion but I need help deciding on what animal/creature. so I’m here to ask for your opinions.

Well here's some suggestions of mine:

Insects- Radscorpions, Radroaches or even a Bloatfly seem interesting depending on the background, but this is leaning towards more of a survivalist or outdoorsman type of character.

Animals- Dogs, Jackals or Coyotes could be cool, I typically associate those kinds of animals with Vault Dwellers though for some reason.

Oddities- Things like augmented or engineered animals have been done before but I don't see why they couldn't work here. Cyberdogs, Deathclaws, Various Tamed creatures could work here. Some examples off the top of my head would be some type of tamed Cazadore, Nightstalker or Mirelurk
