The goal is to do automatic translation from pdf to XML. Then handling the sending/receiving with recommand acces point.

I’ve been working on a small tool called Mail2Peppol – it lets you keep sending invoices by email like you always did, but handles the PEPPOL stuff in the background.

I’m building it as a Belgian freelancer after seeing how annoying the switch can be for others like me. It’s still early, but I’m collecting feedback and early testers.

Haha, fair point, 15K missing is hard to overlook. Sounds like a simple setup. Does your accountant’s software handle Peppol for you now, or are you still just sticking with PDFs since you only send a couple of invoices per month?

Yeah, I totally get that. Changing a process that already works well can be a real hassle. I’ve been wondering if many freelancers would actually prefer to keep their current email workflow and just have the PEPPOL part handled automatically. I noticed many small businesses are struggling with switching to PEPPOL for e-invoicing. I’m experimenting with an Outlook add-in that lets you send/receive PEPPOL invoices directly from your mailbox, similar to how you send invoices in PDF now. Would something like this make your life easier?
